  1. Show articles you have made using any 10 of the following:
    1. Outline
    2. Lazy daisy
    3. Chain
    4. Cross-stitch
    5. Eyelet or cut work
    6. Embroidery
    7. Satin
    8. Whipping
    9. Heavy chain
    10. French knot
    11. Blanket
    12. Feather
    13. Stem
    14. Back
    15. Buttonhole
    16. Fishbone
    17. Long and short
    18. Split
    19. Braid
  2. Do two of the following:
    1. Embroider one of the following: dresser scarf, pair of pillowcases, luncheon cloth, or other equivalent article.
    2. Make a pillow cover or wall hanging, a set of four sachet pillows, or three tree ornaments, out of any of the following methods:
      1. Punch embroidery
      2. Candle wicking
      3. Crewel
    3. Make a pillow cover, wall hanging, cover for chair, etc. in needlepoint.
    4. Make an article using any of the following methods:
      1. Applique
      2. Fagoting
      3. Smocking
      4. Shirring
      5. Swedish weaving
  3. Show the correct way of gathering lace and whipping it to hemmed edge.
  4. Describe a satisfactory method of keeping your fancywork equipment in good condition.
